Panasonic will start selling its latest tablet PC models protected Toughpad FZ-A1, which is the thinnest and lightest in its class device having a body with increased strength to support certification of the military standard MIL-STD-810G and the corresponding specification IP65. The device has the following dimensions: 266,3 x 17 x 212 mm, weight is 993 grams.
Toughpad FZ-A1successfully operate at extremely high and low temperatures. Tablet PC is equipped with 10.1-inch multi-touch screen that supports the format XGA (1024 x 768 pixels) with anti-reflection coating and a maximum brightness of 500 cd/m2. The device is based on the 1.2-GHz dual-core processor Marvell ARM PXA2128, has 1 GB of RAM, 16-GB drive and a slot for memory card format MicroSD. In addition there are Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR and 802.11a/b/g/n Wi-Fi modules, GPS-receiver, optional 4G modem, microUSB port and microHDMI, accelerometer, light sensor, digital compass, and built-in rechargeable battery, which should be sufficient capacity for battery life for up to 10 hours.
