Samsung and LG have managed amicably, without the involvement of judiciary, to resolve a dispute concerning patents in LCD screens and displays based on organic light emitting diodes (OLED).
According to associate, the conflict started in July last year when Samsung convict 11 employees of spying for rival. Two months later, the company asked the court to ban sales of LG products, which use the stolen technology. In response, LG has accused opponents of borrowing solutions used in display devices popular Samsung series Galaxy.
Over time, the number of mutual claims only increased, and earlier this month, executives agreed to a peaceful resolution of the conflict.
