Analysts from IC Insights presented a prediction of the distribution in 2013 of budgets for capital expenditures, which include funding for development and the modernization and construction of new facilities.  In short, almost half of all planned capital expenditures in the world on the amounts spent only two manufacturers - Intel and Samsung companies.  They will contribute 42% of the funding.  In this case, the total amount of planned costs for all Japanese and European companies will not reach even 10%.  Analysts also point out that the heavyweights of semiconductors in 2012, created a precedent in which a dozen leaders of the average for the year increased its capital expenditure by 5%, while all the others together  reduce them by 27%. In the current year, the amount of capital costs of tens leaders also increased by an average of 5%.  All other  cut funding in this area by 8%, which would create a gap between the leaders and the rest by 13%.   Behind progress, experts say, will be all the companies that are not ready to lay on the capital needs of the more than $ 1 billion a year.  Thus, the total costs for companies Nanya, Powerchip and ProMOS in 2012 totaled $ 276 million - less than 10% of the cost of a modern factory.  So the losers have no place in the ranks companies developing advanced process technologies. Over four years , Samsung spend $ 46.9 billion, 60% of which went to the equipment of factories for the production of memory.  During the same time, Intel spent $ 40.0 billion of funds.  Such money would be enough to build a 12.10 300-mm factories.  In 2012, the combined share of Intel and Samsung to capital expenditures amounted to 40% of the world, and in 2013 promises to rise to 42%.
