The mass production of the fifth-generation iPad tablet will start in July or August this year. The new model will be thinner and lighter compared to its predecessor, and will get a thin bezel around the screen, like the model of iPad mini.
LCD screens for the new iPad will be produced by LG and Sharp, touch panels will produce TPK, a thin film of indium-tin oxide (ITO) will be provided by Nitto Denko and Teijin companies. The main problem at the stage of mass production will be the level of usable products for key components of the tablet, such as touch panels.
Apple expected that the MacBook Pro models with a 13-inch screen and will sell well in 2013, but in reality computers settle on the stock. While consumers are interested in mobile computers Apple, their sales are limited by relatively high cost.
