AMD representatives according to the records in 3DMark'05, asserted that two video card radeon HD 2900 XT can compose competition to the GeForce 8800 Ultra..... Some time ago we published a world record ( 33 778 points in 3DMark'05 ) using two video card radeon HD 2900 XT ( Crossfire ) working at frequencies 950/1950 MHz and the processor was overclocked to the frequency 5305 MHz ( core 2 Extreme x6800 (2.93 GHz) ) . Now this result is not more a record, since Kinc reached higher value : 34 125 points in 3DMark'05.  The two video card radeon HD 2900 XT operated at frequencies 880/1980 MHz using air cooling, dual core processor core 2 Extreme x6800 was overclocked to the frequency 5343 MHz. The overclock progress is not large - since the video card core frequency was reduced in comparison with previous record. We should note that the world record in 3DMark'06 and 3DMark'03 is occupied by system on base of overclocked video card GeForce 8800 Ultra.. Related Products : | ||
