Intel confirmed that in the past month the company dispatched one million processor with four core. The discussion dealt with servers processors xeon on 65 nm core clovertown. Specifically, their quantity from the beginning of deliveries during November last year had to exceed one million. Desktop processors in this case were not considered, and the total number intel processors (four core)  is much higher than one million. The portion of four core processor in the desktop sector does not exceed 3-5%, and only in the first quarter 2008 it will increase to 8%. AMD has also intentions to dispatch one million servers and desktop processors with four core prior to the end of the present year.
