Intel plans to announce the processors xeon 7300/7200 (Tigerton), intended for multiprocessor servers and work stations (up to 32 chips in one system), on September (present year). Earlier intel planned to release such solutions in the third quarter. Tigerton will be released in two and four core versions. The price range of the first will be 856-1177 dollars, the second - 856-2301 dollars. The release Of xeon 7300/7200 will result in the reduction of market portion Of xeon 7100 (Tulsa). Already in the third quarter the new solutions will compose 15% of intel sales in this segment, and in the fourth quarter , tigerton portion will reach 55%.
