We already talked about the high overclocking capability of processors core 2 Duo e6750 (2.66 GHz) stepping G0. In this context it is interesting to study the results, obtained by one active participants in the forum xtremeSystems with the use of series processor core 2 Duo e6850 (3.0 GHz) - such processor will be put on the market soon for $266. However, in many Price- lists these processors already exist.  Here is the new high end proc error core 2 Duo, with 4 mb cache in the second level and 1333 MHz system bus. Concrete copy is packed at the end June in Malaysia. The processor core 2 Duo e6850 (3.0 GHz) stepping G0 has the marking SLA9U.  This processor was overclocked using the motherboard asus P5K premium on base of chipset intel p35 with vcore 1.57 v. for cooling was used the air cooler tuniq tower 120. Processor could preserve stability under load at the frequency 4.0 GHz, in this case the utility asus probe reported a core temperature equal to 69 degree Celsius.  Result, is pretty good. It remained to wait for the appearance of series processors series core 2 Duo e6x50 in sale - their announcement was planned on 22 July. Let us note that under Freon the engineering models core 2 Duo e6850 stepping G0 are overclocked to frequencies 5.3 GHz.
