Seagate Technology company announced the release of hard disk drives Seagate Video 3.5 HDD capacity of 4 TB. According to the manufacturer, these 3.5-inch drives are specifically designed based on the application video recording and playback, including digital recorders (DVR), set-top boxes (STB) and video surveillance systems. According to Seagate, 4 TB is enough to store 480 hours of HD video.

Allegedly, the drives provide simultaneous transmission of up to 16 streams of HD video or up to 20 streams of standard definition.
