Last week, the new Intel CEO Brian Krzhanich immediately made it clear that under his leadership, the company will actively develop the segment of mobile devices. The first steps of the new head of the corporation, have just been directed to regroup for a decisive roll in the mobile segment.
Under the direct control of Krzhanicha also are the production of client computers, mobile telecommunications equipment and products for the data center, which until then was in charge of Dadi Perlmutter. The terms of reference of the new Intel president Renee James will include control over production operations and the direction of information security. On the shoulders of Mrs. James also lie care of corporate planning and strategy formation.
Lead the direction of the new devices will be Mike Bell who has worked at Apple and Palm, where he was involved in the development of mobile devices and platforms. Bella will help Hermann Eul, which after the acquisition by the respective unit Infineon Intel worked on mobile telecommunications. Perhaps this is only the first steps in the latest attempt to keep up with Intel competitors in the segment of mobile devices.
