This week will be announced the first mobile processor core 2 Extreme - the processor core 2 Extreme x7800 (2.6 GHz). There is no official information about it, but we have already some information about it . Let us recall that this processor  relate to the family core 2 Extreme with the free multiplier  with TDP level  from 35 W to 44 W. At the end of August will be released the processor core 2 Duo t7800 (2.6 GHz) with the fixed multiplier, its TDP value  will be equal to 35 W.   Here is the TDP values of this processor in different energy states: 2.6 GHz  - >  44 W (35 W); 1.2 GHz  - >   35 W (25 W); 800 MHz - > 27 W (12 W). The energy consumption level of processor core 2 Extreme x7800 is actually high : notebook test in the majority of cases could not work from batteries for two hours in maximum performance regime  . The multiplier of processor  in the screenshot above is increased  . For example, the frequency of processor can be from 2.6 GHz (13x) to 3.0 GHz (15x). The system performance in this case is well improved  . The cost of processor in parties from 1000 pieces will exceed $800;. Already during September the processor core 2 Extreme x7800 (2.6 GHz) will leave the place for the processor core 2 Extreme x7900 (2.8 GHz), it will be proposed for the same price.
