Xigmatek company introduced the low-profile CPU cooler Janus . Our colleagues found at Xigmatek in Computex 2013 a new model with the same layout. The device is called Boreas (catalog number - LD1465). Its design consists of a copper base, five copper heat pipes directly in contact with the processor (HDT) with a diameter of 6 mm and a radiator with aluminum plates arranged parallel to the motherboard. Top and bottom of the radiator mounted 140-mm fans, the speed of which is controlled by PWM. Fanless design weighing 600 g fits into the dimensions 140 x 140 x 100 mm. Fans added another 25 mm height and 350 g - to the weight. Xigmatek Boreas cooler is intended for processors with TDP up to 150W. | ||
