While Intel expressed hope for further distribution of Thunderbolt interface and the appearance of its next version with index 2 , USB supporters are preparing for adequate bandwidth solution in the face of  USB 3.5 interface.   In fact, USB 3.5  will increase the bandwidth of the interface by half to 10 Gbit / s and support more powerful consumers, so the digital signage version of the interface is not changed so much.  Previously it was thought that the device with supports of USB 3.5 will appear at the end of next year, but ASMedia is ready to offer compatible controllers in early 2014.  Of course, the USB 3.5 controllers maintain backward compatibility with older versions of the interface.  USB 3.5 specification must be approved by the middle of this year  .
