Philips is planning to start selling by the end of this month its new Android-smartphone midrange line Xenium model W8500. The device has a durable dust-and waterproof metal case (protection class IP67), it has the following dimensions: 132 x 71 x 12.3 mm and weight - 171.4 grams.
Xenium W8500 is based on 1.2-GHz dual-core processor from MediaTek company , a high-quality 4.3-inch IPS-display with the HD (resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels) and the viewing angle is 180 degrees, resistant to scratches. Also available are two slots for SIM-cards, 2GB of internal flash memory, a slot for memory cards format micro-SD (up to 32GB), GPS-receiver, an 8-megapixel rear and front facing 1.3 megapixel camera.
