The passage of four core processors kentsfield on stepping G0 ensured not only improvement in the overclocking potential, but also a decrease in the energy consumption level . Furthermore, The deliveries of processors with new stepping coincided with significant prices reduction for intel processors with four core. Since all processors kentsfield stepping G0 appeared not only in intel data  base , but also in some stores, it is possible to check their markings and TDP for each model. Core 2 Extreme QX6850 (3.0 GHz) - > SLAFN (G0), TDP=130 W; Core 2 Extreme QX6800 (2.93 GHz) - > SL9UK (B3), TDP=130 W; Core 2 Extreme QX6800 (2.93 GHz) - > SLACP (G0), TDP=130 W; Core 2 Extreme QX6700 (2.66 GHz) - > SL9UL (B3), TDP=130 W; Core 2 Quad q6700 (2.66 GHz) - > SLACQ (G0), TDP=95 W; Core 2 Quad q6600 (2.4 GHz) - > SL9UM (B3), TDP=105 W; Core 2 Quad q6600 (2.4 GHz) - > SLACR (G0), TDP=95 W. It is possible to note that the passage on G0  stepping  did not move the processors series core 2 Extreme in another energy class - at frequencies 2.93-3.0 GHz , the four core processor kentsfield as before demonstrate TDP on the order of 130 W. The progress is more obvious for the processors core 2 Quad: at frequency 2.66 GHz it was possible to decrease TDP from 130 to 95 W. At the frequency 2.4 GHz passage on G0 stepping result in a TDP decrease from 105 to 95 W. To check the processors core 2 Quad q6600 (2.4 GHz) G0 stepping is possible not only by the marking SLACR, but also with the index of energy consumption  class (05A). In Germany and Japan the processors core 2 Quad q6600 (2.4 GHz) has already been sold for 250 Euro- and $305 respectively.
