As is known, intel company in this year released the chipsets family bearlake. More precisely saying, Intel released : the chipset g33 and P35 express (already available from the beginning of April) , q33 and Q35 (available  from the previous month ) and finally the planned for release during autumn g35 and X38 express. At the same time, company work in next generation chipset :   Eaglelake. There will be three custom versions chipsets in eaglelake family  : P, G and Q. their basic special feature will become the support of processors intel penryn (Yorkfield and Wolfdale) and other processors with FSB up to 1333 MH frequency . As it was assumed, such chipset will support DDR3 and DDR2 memory, moreover the maximum speed values selected is DDR 3-1333 and DDR 2-800. In Eaglelake will appear the interface PCIe 2.0 for the discrete graphic system. At the same time, a new system bus with a new south bridge ICH10 Generally, south bridge ICH10 will not be very popular due to lack of ide support as many other usual interfaces  – ICH10 will support only Serial ATA, PCIe, USB and HD audio. The ports multipliers will become the special future in this  south bridge  - for example, it s possible to connect to one port SATA several devices, without lost in the data exchange rate speed . Eaglelake- P will replace P35 express. In this chipset version will be provided the connection of two slots PCIe 2.0 x16 (working at x8). Eaglelake- G will be characterized by the presence of  integrated graphic system, compatible with DirectX 10 and equipped with  DVI, DisplayPort and HDMI. This graphic chip will  use the technology intel video, which improves video preview and accelerates H.264 and VC-1 decoding . Eaglelake- Q will become base for intel mcCreary vPro platform , in which there will be the support of AMT 5.0, VT for directed I/O, Trusted execution technology and built-in module TPM 1.2. Eaglelake, will be announced in the second quarter 2008. Related Products :
