Today appeared new information, that some video card radeon HD 2400 Pro in the low-profile version ( standard design ) can not work normally with some power units models . Problem is manifested in artifacts with the following form:  As explained associates , as reason for defect serve power system capacitors in the video card. This problem appear with some video cards Radeon HD 2400 Pro standard design in the low-profile performance. AMD now develops the new printed-circuit board revision , which is deprived from similar defect. Gigabyte company , which was being mentioned as victim from the second defect type (failure with BIOS), extended the following statement . There is no errors in video card BIOS from gigabyte production and this is not allowed, all card passed the tests successfully. But let us note that the described problems concern only standard design video card , and the majority of gigabyte video card has its own design printed-circuit board. Specifically, due to the preparation of its own design for these video card forced Gigabyte to detain the beginning of deliveries for products series radeon HD 2600 and Radeon HD 2400 . Even if someone purchased such video card , then the problem with UVD can be solved by drivers update , and defective BIOS can be replaced by operational, and incompatibility with power unit can be solved by video card replacement. ....
