According to our associate the future high end graphical solutions from AMD will be based on multi-chip . In view of different economic and technological factors , AMD will begin to disadvantageously release monolithic large cores for video card with class high-end, and the technology crossFire with the effective use of resources will allow to attain the necessary speed with different application. Mr. (Richard Huddy) [ the chapter European AMD subdivision ] confirmed that AMD is no longer interested in the creation of large monolithic cores, instead of this it is planned to increase the speed with multi-chip graphical solutions. Moving with the multi-chip concept , AMD is assembled to inject in the consumer systems graphical solutions on base of more than two video chips. For example, it is possible to unite in regime crossFire two two-chip video card. In this year, AMD expects to propose crossFire version made by three video card class radeon HD 2900 XT. In such multi-chip configuration the load distribution between the video chip will be achieved according to the principle Of alternate frame rendering . Obviously, this method allow to make a better load balancing. | ||
