Associate with the reference to motherboards producers report, that together with the announcement of new high performance chipset x38 express , intel will present two technologies extreme memory and Extreme tuning utility, whose support will be realized in the new chipset.

We cannot fail to note that similar technologies are also available from NVIDIA chipset.

Intel extreme tuning utility is completely similar to NVIDIA nTune. It will allow to control many BIOS settings from the operating system and also to overclock the system .

Extreme memory will become answer to NVIDIA SLI memory. Those certified by intel memory module when installed in the appropriate motherboard on base Of x38 express, will ensure a maximum performance level due to the prescribed by SPD modules.

Extreme memory will be supported only for DDR3.

This technology will be supported also by P35 express and by future mobile chipsets, analogous to bearlake family .

The engineering models of such modules will be already available during September.
