AMD Company already acquired the license for the use of Z -RAM technology ( second generation ) , but they still confused : what products will use such memory type ?. AMD declared, that Z -RAM technology will not be used in the production of 65 nm processors cache. IBM company decided to equip its 45 nm processors with eDRAM cache . It cannot be excluded that AMD can follow this example, after preserving license on Z -RAM for other purposes. Hynix this entire year looks at Z -RAM , and manifests serious interest in this technology. Therefore, to 2010-2011 we can see the first products, created with the aid of Z technology .
