HGST, division of Western Digital, has announced the immediate availability of hard disk drives MegaScale DC 4000.B. These drives have a size of 3.5 inches 4TB capacity and are equipped with the SATA 6 Gb / s. They belong to the second generation drives MegaScale. According to HGST, drives MegaScale DC 4000.B, the spindle speed is determined by the technology CoolSpin, suitable for continuous operation under a load corresponding to rewrite 180 terabytes per year.
