Gigabyte technology company prepares for announcement one of the simplest and cheapest motherboards on base of chipset intel x38. The motherboard gigabyte GA-5BXWL- RH is oriented for work stations and initial level servers market . this motherboard support 45 nm intel processors , which is completely natural. Four slots DIMM can accept up to 8 Gb DDR 2-667/800 memory with ECC function . The examined motherboard does not have the second slot PCI express x 16. But it is possible to reveal four slots PCI and one slots PCI express x4. South bridge ICH9R ensures support to five slots SATA-300 with RAID functions . On the rear panel it is possible to reveal customary ports COM and LPT, which some producers forget about them . Focus attention, that the IDE port is located in the upper angle right of the motherboard - this is very convenient for optical drives connection , since hard disks are now frequently equipped with serial ATA interface . The power system in this motherboard has four-phase, there is no complex cooling systems . Gigabyte will propose this motherboard on price, close to the cost of motherboard on base of chipset intel p35. | ||
