Recently,TSMC company complained about the workload of  production lines, using 28-nm process technology, and Taiwanese customers had to either take part, or to seek new contractors, which, by the way, was not there.  now the company did not have enough orders to load the 28-nm production by more than 70%. As explained by the publication, this situation has led to caution customers ordering from TSMC processors for high-end smartphones and tablet devices.  The demand for such products has declined, and the customers are afraid of their own warehouses fill unclaimed products, reducing the volume of orders. The 28-nm TSMC production in the third quarter was loaded by 80%.  Now the contractor is in talks with customers and trying to persuade them to maintain a certain level of orders that will load  90% of  capacity.  However, the financial results of the quarter, the situation is still reflected: TSMC expects consolidated revenues fall by 9-11% compared to the third quarter, to $ 4.9 billion.
