Intel company  had to reduce on 2 September the  prices of the existing mobile processors models core 2 Duo, and also represent several new processors. The date indicated already passed, but intel public Price- list was not updated. Specifically, on 2 September in intel Price- list was prescribed the processor core 2 Extreme x7900 (2.8 GHz) with the free multiplier; however, it is already available for sale since August. This model occupied the place Of core 2 Extreme x7800 (2.6 GHz),  which cost  $530. With the passage on 45 nm technology core 2 Extreme processor frequency  in the mobile segment will reach 3.06 GHz, and cache volume in the second level will increase to 6 mb ., it will also use the 1066 MHz system bus. The processor core 2 Duo t7100 (1.8 GHz) with 2 mb cache was removed, and as replacement we have the core 2 Duo t7300 (2.0 GHz) with 4 mb cache witch comes cheaper than the processor core 2 Duo t7250 (2.0 GHz) with 2 mb cache in the second level. It would be desirable to note that in the third quarter 2008 intel will present new energy class mobile processors with TDP level not more than 25 W. These processors will be originally based on 45 nm core penryn 3 mb cache, frequency of the first models will lie in the range from 2.13 to 2.53 GHz. The appearance of processors with this characteristics combination will allow to increase the operation time and to decrease the overall notebook sizes, preserving sufficiently high performance level .
