With reference to Taiwan motherboard producers we got new information, which concern intel mobile 45- nm processors . First four core penryn QC for notebook will appear only in the second-half of the following year. Intel will update its centrino platform with new montevina. According to the updated data, such processors will be equipped with 12MB L2 caches ; moreover each core pairs will have the isolated 6 mb. Processors will obtain the updated socket P' (do not confuse it with the the present socket P in notebook platform santa rosa). The system bus frequency of mobile 4- core Penryn will be 1066 MHz.  There is no TDP 25 W , this value will be 45 W. In the idle regime , the energy consumption will be reduced to 3-4 W. According to notebook producers , the implementation of the support to such processors will not require high expenditures - they will be only 1,5-2 dollars per one mobile PC. Related Products : | ||
