As reports associate , AMD company , which during February this year already presented the desktop processor , model AMD X2 6000+ with TDP level equal to 125 W, begins the sale of the low energy version . The discussion deals with the same processor, but with the thermal packet 89 W.
New X2 6000+ (ADA6000IAA6CZ)
Both versions have the identical frequency, equal to 3 GHz, both are produced on 90 nm technology with SOI, they have 2*1 mb cache in the second level. Difference only in the thermal packet and in the supply voltage, which composes 1,3 v for the new version and 1,35 v for the old one (125- W).
Source notes also that the maximum energy consumption for the 89 W version was 155 W, and the 125- W processor showed 195 W with peak load. Related Products :
