Many are interested in the overclocking potential of 45 nm yorkfield processors with air cooling. High overclocking potential with freon and liquid nitrogen is always good whereas overclocker frequently use air cooling .
The engineering model of core 2 Extreme QX9650 (3.0 GHz) processor fell in the hands of Scandinavian overclockers . The concrete processor copy overclock to 4.138 GHz (9 X 460 MHz) with air cooling, and this encourages the potential owners of four core 45 nm processors.  The motherboard asus P5E3 deluxe on base of chipset intel x38 was used .
