It is reported that the Samsung Galaxy S5 uses a 16-megapixel ISOCELL-module main camera, which was developed most by Samsung. It decrease the level of the so-called digital noise by about 30% when shooting in low light conditions and to increase the sensitivity of each pixel of the camera by 30%.
It should be noted that the Samsung Galaxy S4 set the main camera with 13 megapixel sensor Exmor RS (IMX135), produced by the Japanese company Sony.
In addition, experts Chipworks found that the touch screen Samsung Galaxy S5 uses a new form of subpixels. Thus, the green subpixel is formed in a diamond shape as the other. While S4 green subpixel was oval. Samsung also change the size of the subpixels. Now the size of the red and blue is 27 to 36 microns and 31 microns in Galaxy S4. green size decreased from 23 to 19 microns. All this have improved the quality and increase the display brightness.
