Released in September last year budget processors (SoC) Intel Bay Trail-M received the first update in November of the same year. Then the company has given line technology Burst, raised the operating frequencies of computing and graphics cores and increased the maximum permissible operating temperature. Second update affected line Intel Bay Trail-M in February this year. Frequency of the CPU and GPU mode Burst became almost aggressive, as was updated frequency supported memory. The next change will occur in the current quarter. Light will see four new models Intel Bay Trail-M: N2808, N2840, N2940 and N3540. CPU speed Burst mode increase again, this time by an amount ranging from 3% to 7%, and processors N28xx receive an additional 6% increase in the maximum rate of GPU.
Except the clock frequency, there will be no other changes in the models . Like their predecessors in the face of N2807 and N2830, N2808 and N2840 models have two processing cores and 1MB cache L2. GPU speed of both models is 313 MHz, and the frequency of CPU, respectively, 1.58 and 2.16 Hz GHz. Maximum frequency in automatic overclocking (Burst) up to 2.25 GHz and 2.58 GHz cores and 792 MHz for the graphics.
New models - N2940 and N3540, like their predecessors - N2930 and N3530, clocked at 1.83 GHz and 2.16 GHz. Base frequency charts - 313 MHz, but can rise, respectively, to 854 MHz and 896 MHz. All SoC supports DDR3-1333 memory and carry blocks support Quick Sync Video technology and Wireless Display. Processor N2808 has a TDP 4,3 W at scenic consumption 3W. Model N2840, N2940 and N3540 consume up to 7.5 W in normal mode and up to 4.5 W in the scenario mode. Related Products :
