Alliance A4WP announced the development of specifications, allowing Tablets and Laptops wireless recharge. An updated version of the standard Rezence allow transfer to the device power up to 50 watts. Certification program for compliant products will be complemented by a new version of the standard around the end of this year. Accordingly, the possibility of product charge wirelessly notebook batteries will be implemented during 2015.
Intel, at Computex 2014 said that by 2016 it will be releasing laptops in general without any wired connection. Wires for power supply to replace the standard Rezence alliance A4WP, in which top management, Intel came last summer, and wireless standard 802.11ac Wi-Fi standard will give way to speed WiGig (up to 7 Gb / s).
Also A4WP alliance said that recently in its composition entered such respected companies as Fujitsu, Hon Hoi (Foxconn), Lenovo, Logitech and Panasonic. Total number of alliance members approached one hundred.
