Tomorrow, June 30, will start the sale in Japan of goggles Epson Moverio BT-200, which was officially presented at the beginning of this year under the International CES 2014.
Epson Moverio BT-200AV/BT-200 are augmented reality glasses with binocular screen with miniature projectors based on lenses with LCD-technology. They support 3D technology and can project images with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels, which, according to the manufacturer, equivalent to watching a 40-inch TV at a distance of about 2.5 meters. Device are running mobile operating system Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and equipped with modules GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 3.0, a compass, an accelerometer, a gyroscope, a slot for memory cards format SD (up to 32GB), USB ports and HDMI, as well as built-in 0.3-megapixel camera with a microphone. The system is based on dual-core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz, supplemented with 1 GB of RAM. Capacity built drive is 8 GB. Unit weight is only 88 grams against 240 grams in Epson Moverio BT-100, which were presented in November 2011. Built-in battery provides up to six points hours of battery life without having to connect to the network.
In addition to the binocular glasses is a dedicated controller for remote control.
The cost of smart points Epson Moverio BT-200 for the Japanese market will be approximately $ 630, whereas the model BT-200AV with a wireless adapter will cost $ 890.
