During January will appear the processor athlon LE-1640 with 2.7 GHz frequency and 512 KB cache, based on 65 nm core. Is it possible to assert that even now 65 nm and 90 nm version athlon  lE-16xx exist in parallel? First, all supplied now processors athlon LE-1600 (2.2 GHz) and Athlon LE-1620 (2.4 GHz) are based exclusively on 90 nm core orleans stepping F3, they have 1 mb cache in the second level. Thus, all references about 65 nm versions in the current AMD price -list version are error. However, in the first quarter 2008 the processors of this series will be actually translated on 65 nm core lima with 512 KB cache in the second level. The presented during January model athlon LE-1640 will exist in both  version on stepping F3 (frequency 2.6 GHz and 1 mb cache) and on stepping G2 (2.7 GHz and 512 KB cache).
