During November AMD will present phenom processors , and the deliveries capacities of four core processors will increase to hundreds of thousands pieces. The substantial part of those processor will be in servers segment ( barcelona processors ). The announcement of first models phenom was planned on 20 November. Those processor will have four cores. It is assumed that the first models phenom will work at frequencies 2.2-2.4 GHz. According to motherboard producers , the demand for phenom processors will reach significant capacities only in the first quarter of 2008. Motherboard producers noted that the appearance Of athlon 64 X2 5000+ Black edition with the free multiplier did not significantly influence the interest of buyers in socket AM2 platform . All attention is already switched to phenom generation processors . | ||
