Two new product, shocked the world in 29 October 2007 : those are the quad-processor Core 2 Extreme QX9650 (3.0 GHz) and the graphics card GeForce 8800 GT 512 MB. Both product provided a nice performance boost in comparison with their predecessors. So What happens if we combine the Core 2 Extreme QX9650 and GeForce 8800 GT on the same system, and then overclock them? The answer to this question was presented by Fugger, who shared its impressions about the GeForce 8800 GT. Let us note that the video card used was reference using the stock cooler. At the air temperature 20 degrees Celsius the graphic card was overclocked from the frequencies 600/1500/1800 MHz to 750/1890/2000 MHz .The Processor Core 2 Extreme QX9650 was overclocked to 4.8 GHz, cooled with minus 50 degrees Celsius.:Here's the tests results in series 3DMark:
