As we have already noted , the German enthusiasts began to warm up before the final competitions overclocking Asus Open Overclocking Cup 2014 to be held in Moscow in the coming weekend. In the final, will be attended by eight teams from ten countries .The jury consisted of famous enthusiasts from different countries.
This Saturday will be held the official part of the competition, which implies races in the following set of test subjects: Cinebench R15, 3DMark11 Performance, 3DMark Fire Strike and 3DMark Fire Strike Extreme. At each stage the teams will earn points, the winner will have to score 120 points. Components for testing will be provided centrally by the organizers, so Testbed configuration will be the same for all participants:
- Motherboard ASUS Rampage V Extreme;
- graphics card ASUS Strix GTX 980;
- Processor Intel Core i7-5960X;
- RAM Corsair Vengeance LPX CMK16GX4M4A2800C16R;
- SSD Corsair Force LS 240GB;
- PSU Corsair AX1200i.
Each team will receive two copies of each of the components, and will be able to keep it after the competition, except for CPUs and power supplies. Winners will be awarded cash prizes additional $ 5,000 per team for first place, $ 3,000 for second and $ 2,000 for third. Tanks for liquid nitrogen, and equipment required for the modification of graphics cards, competitors bring with them.
All interested persons can visit AOOC finals in 2014, which will be held November 22-23 at the club Moscow Cyber Stadium (Moscow, Dmitrov highway, 27/1).
