In Japanese retail today appeared the motherboard MSI X38 Platinum based on chipset Intel X38 with DDR-3 memory support .  This motherboard has four slots PCI Express x16. As explained the producer, two blue slots are working on PCI Express x16 + PCI Express x16 , (PCI Express 2.0).  Two yellow slots for the installation of video interface PCI Express x16 correspond to the specifications PCI Express 1.x, and working at PCI Express x4 + PCI Express x4. As in case of MSI, only two slots correspond to the specifications PCI Express 2.0, and working at PCI Express x16. The two other slots are working on PCI Express x4.
