Nissan Motor Company announced a collaboration with the American space agency NASA as part of a software and hardware solutions for automatic vehicles control . The first tests of prototypes in closed landfills will begin in late 2015 and the end of the decade, Nissan plans to launch production models of vehicles that the vast majority of cases can be controlled automatically - even when traveling through the city streets.
The US space agency in this cooperation has its own interest: Nissan will create prototypes of remote-controlled planetary rovers that will eventually be used to explore other planets. Partners will also debug interfaces that help a person to interact and vehicle standards and design reliable communication between robotic cars.
