ASRock Company, known for its ability to provide a second obsolete chipset, the recently introduced motherboard ALiveDual-eSATA2 built on unique links nForce3 250 + ULi M1695. The first chip is used as the south bridge. In particular, it is used for full AGP 8x support  and two ports SATA-150. The Chip ULi M1695 provides the support of one connector PCI Express x16. The Socket AM2 is ready to support Phenom generation processors. The chipsets ULi M1695 on the motherboard scheme appears under NVIDIA trademark . Note that the motherboard do not support video card with AGP graphics card and  3.3 V voltage. Two-port SATA-300 are supported by JMicron JMB363 controller .Two port PATA-133 allows to use up to four devices , four DIMM slots support DDR2-800 memory up to 8 GB. Optionally you can connect to the motherboard the  wireless WiFi 802.11g module and 802.11g, which is sold separately. Related Products :

unlike the 939 for the amd, supporting ONLY 2GB of DDR/DDR2, this one supports a huge 8GB! and that\'s without having to add the 939-to-940pin cpu board. It\'s also full AGP and full pcie x16. M1695 is NOT dead. Try to get a board supporting both full agp 8x and full pcie x16 anywhere in the US, and you wont find it, except a couple on ebay two days ago, and they sold for anywhere in between $90 and $100 dollars. For those of us wanting to keep our expensive agp cards and later upgrade to pcie, if needed, we can do so, just like it was with the ASRock 939Dual-SATA2, but with the added benefits of more memory and future-proof cpus. Also, we appreciate the sata2, but mostly the full pcie x16 and large 8gig of ram. Those are the main reasons we didn\'t get the intel counterpart, the ASRock 4CoreDual-VSTA. The limited 2Gig of ram being the #1. We want one right now! Thanks Asrock, great work!!!
