The Characteristics of video card based on 55 nm chip RV620 are already known. This card will replace the RV610 in the next quarter. Compared to the Radeon HD 2400 Pro features there are no change: the frequency still equal to 525/800 MHz , 64-bit DDR-2 memory , 128 MB, support HyperMemory technology. Among innovations the new card will include the support for DirectX 10.1 and PCI Express 2.0. Today appeared the test results of RV620 in 3DMark'06. This Video card worked at 525/800 MHz frequencies . Using Celeron 460 (2.4 GHz) in the motherboard Foxconn P35A-S with 2 x 1 GB memory . This Video card get 1123 points in 3DMark'06.  In similar circumstances RV620 gain 1514 points in 3DMark'06:  In other words, 3DMark'06 productivity increases from the switch to the RV620 is 35%. Note that PCI Experss 2.0 is not supported by Intel P35 chipsets . In a similar system the GeForce 8400 GS graphics card based on chip G98 get only 1236 points in 3DMark'06.
