On Monday, March 9, Apple held a presentation, which introduced its new ultra-thin notebook MacBook 12-inch Retina-display, and also announced the release of updated models MacBook Air. They then fell into the hands of specialists repair shop iFixit, who disassembled it and appreciated maintainability.
According to AppleInsider, the guys from iFixit, dismantling the new 11- and 13-inch MacBook Air, have found that they have some internal differences compared with its predecessors, which were released in 2014. It is also noted that the new laptops use the old model numbers used in 2012: A1465 and A1466. In the new laptops is not possible to upgrade the RAM and SSD, but nevertheless the key modules are easily replaced, this can not be said about the battery, which is glued to the frame.
