On Asus site, we finds mention of the video card marked R9390X-DC2-8GD5, which note the presence of 8 GB of GDDR5 memory . The product itself is named Radeon R9 390X, but can not use Fiji core , since this is graphics processor work only with 4 GB of memory type HBM. Accordingly, it is probably renamed Radeon R9 290X with increased memory capacity.
We have already heard that Hawaii gets a new family of graphics cards Radeon Rx 3xx with such memory size. Asus mention the following video cards: Radeon R9 380 with 2 GB GDDR5 memory (possible, Tonga), Radeon R9 370 with GDDR5 4 GB memory (may, Pitcairn), Radeon R7 360X and Radeon R7 360 with 2 GB GDDR5 memory (probably, Bonaire).
