MediaTek MT8173 processor with dual-core Cortex-A72 provides high performance. At least, that was demonstrated in the benchmark AnTuTu.
On this week's Computex 2015 exhibition was presented a prototype of the tablet-based MediaTek MT8173. It then scored in AnTuTu more than 50 thousand points. This result is really good, considering that the eight-core MediaTek MT6595 processor with a clock frequency of 2.2 GHz, which includes quad-core Cortex-A17, scored in the same test 51,000 points, while the HTC One M9 based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 - about 54 thousand points.
Colleagues from Fudzilla report that test tablet at the exhibition was not possible, but they have seen a working prototype on Android 5.1. It is noted that the supply of MediaTek MT8173 customers will begin in July, and then in the coming months we will see the first devices on the market .
