We already described the basic release stages of Nehalem architecture processors . In the fourth quarter , will appear the four core processors Bloomfield (LGA 1366), oriented to enthusiasts. In the first quarter 2009 will appear the four core processors Lynnfield (LGA 1160), which will be satisfied by two-channel
memory controller and by the modest thermal packet. In the second quarter 2009 will appear the dual core processors Havendale (LGA 1160), which will obtain the integrated graphic core. All three processor will be released on 45 nm technology second generation.
In the present month Intel will designate the removal of single core processors, after releasing dual core Celeron. To the end of this year , Intel company intends to almost completely end the deliveries of single core processors in desktop segment.
Wolfdale processors will continue to coexist simultaneously with Havendale in budget sector. Actually, economical users will prefer motherboard with LGA 775 socket , since they can use Wolfdale or older processors.
