Analysts at research firm TrendForce published their new report dedicated to the global smartphone market. According to their data, global smartphone shipments in the third quarter 2015 increased by 9.1% compared with the previous quarter to 332 million units.
South Korean company Samsung still leads the smartphone market, despite the fact that its share in the third quarter fell below 25% (from 26.7% to 24.6%). It plans to deliver before the end of the year 40 million Galaxy S6 and 10 million Galaxy Note 5. In addition, the Korean giant smartphone is rapidly losing their positions in primary and secondary segments under the pressure of the Chinese smartphone manufacturers. According to TrendForce, shipments of smart phones Samsung's results in 2015 will fall by 1% compared to last year.
