Intel Representatives already noted that the mysterious project Larrabee has more graphic destination then it was planned earlier. The acceleration of three-dimensional graphic will become its primary task. At least, this is correct for the first generation Larrabee. Intel Company this week also reported about its activity results for the fourth quarter 2007 and added some new data about Larrabee project . The early models Larrabee will appear already at the end of this year, but they will be available only for developers. Then will begin the preparation and announcement of series products on base of Larrabee. They must appear at the end of 2009 or in the beginning of 2010. With such announcement periods , Larrabee has to compete with graphical solutions from AMD and NVIDIA, which support DirectX 11. ... | ||
