The debut of Apple Watch actually helped the company to increase sales of its Pebble smartwatch.
According to the CEO Pebble Midzhikovski Eric, currently his company sells twice as many smart-hours than in the same period in 2014. It was affected by the launch and Apple Watch, so increased awareness of potential customers on the handheld devices. He emphasizes that the company had no significant effect of Apple's sales in Pebble devices . A similar opinion is shared by the leaders of Fitbit, said last week that the debut of Apple Watch did not affect their sales.
The head of the Pebble believes that their products are aimed at different consumers. According to him, Apple wants to be in the market of smart watches like Rolex and Tag Heuer, while Pebble equivalent Swatch sees itself in the segment of wearable electronics.
