According to the site DigiTimes, this year, ASUS will ship a total of 20.5 million smartphones, which corresponds to the objectives of the company. This was stated by ASUS General Director Jerry Shen. For the first three quarters of ASUS shipped 13.5 million smartphones, another seven million will be delivered in the fourth quarter.
ASUS also expects sales of its smartphones in 2016 will grow by 46% and will reach 30 million units. The company is going to adjust the assortment policy, narrowing the gaps between proposed models.
In the structure of ASUS supply smartphones based on Intel and Qualcomm will take up to 80%, . The remaining 20% will be based on single-chip system developed by MediaTek.
