Over the next few weeks Vimeo introduced in its service the ability to display video resolution 4K (3840x2160) for all devices.
Update service will take place in stages (for different regions). For most users, support for 4K will appear in early 2016.
Players with third-party resources will also support the function of streaming video in 4K.
In addition, the update adds the ability to automatically change video bitrate depending on the device, as well as the capabilities of the Internet channel. This feature will be available in the coming days, and primarily on the Apple TV (resolution up to 1080p) and other iOS-devices, while support for the Amazon TV, Roku, and Android-devices will be added in the next few weeks.
