As is known, the beta version of the voice assistant Cortana, now available for All Android,. It became known that the application can independently turn off the microphone of the mobile device. This was reported by one of the users of the site WinBeta. In particular, we are talking about the microphone Nexus 5, which suddenly stopped working, and author of the note was about to reset the smartphone to the factory settings, but not in time. During the experiments it was found out that the reason lies in the application Cortana, after switching off the microphone which starts to work normally again. Reclosing Cortana again turns off the microphone. According to the source, the bug may be related to the fact that the functionality to launch applications using the phrase «Hey Cortana», in any way conflict with the same functionality of the native All Android «Ok Google».
