Today appeared the first signs of near Intel X48 chipset announcement . The descriptions of Asus motherboard appeared on the official Asus site. Here is the motherboard Asus P5E3 Premium/WiFi-AP@n, which supports Ddr-3 and CrossFire technology.  It is possible to reveal three slots PCI Express x16, only two dark-blue correspond to PCI Express 2.0 specifications and work at full speed. The third slot ( black color ) is satisfied by PCI Express x4 or PCI Express x1 regime . There is also one slot PCI Express x1 and two slots PCI. This motherboard also support Ddr3-2000 memory with XMP expansions . officially the chipset Intel X48 support only Ddr3-1600. Processors with 1600 MHz bus are officially supported without any overclocking . There is eight-phase power system . The WiFi card ensures access to the wireless network ( standard 802..11n ) and can transmit data with up to 300 Mbit/s.
